Gimmie, based in Brisbane, is an online store selling furniture, white goods and the latest tech releases with the purpose of bringing fairness back into finance for everyday Australians by allowing them to buy now and pay later.
Having just finalised their new branding, Gimmie needed a new website that could bring their vision to life and officially launch themselves into the market.
There were three main requirements for their new website: a great looking website in line with their new visual identity, content that was easy to understand and the ability to integrate with the third-party software Zoho and EasyLodge.

A website experience that’s in line with new branding.
We collaborated with key stakeholders and partner agencies to roll out a design system for the website. The starting point of any successful website projects is understanding the user journey so supplying website sitemaps, user flows and personas were our first priorities.
Once we aligned on content, pages and overall experience goals, our design team completed website wireframes for both desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Regular conversations with internal stakeholders and marketing team members allowed for quick iterations and maximum accuracy. In collaboration with third party brand agency, we created a unique website experience that emphasises their finance options and delivers a fun shopping experience.
Building an integrated website that’s flexible.
The new website was built using WordPress + WooCommerce as the CMS. By utilising WordPress, we were able to offer an easy platform for Gimmie’s marketing team to easily manage products, page content and website updates.
We developed a custom API to provide a middle point between the website and third-party integrations, which would allow for flexibility and freedom to switch software if needed. Currently, the website integrates with EasyLodge and Zoho, providing a seamless experience to manage their customers, order fulfilment and finance applications.
